Breaking free from the molds of The Man 1 and 2 comes The Man 3: Treasure Train, a shoot-'em-up action game featuring a new gang of villains and an introduction to the real story line of The Man and its oncoming games.
The Man 3 was one of the first times I ever spent an extended amount of time on a game. Three weeks (including the late update) may not be much now but it certainly was then, and despite all the huge flaws, I'm still very proud of it.Â
And I don't mean "huge flaws" lightly. The Man 3 has untested levels, literally. If you're more oriented towards enjoying the story, I would HIGHLY recommend skipping every level after 1, and just boss-rushing the game. That's where all the story is.

Beta preview
Late into its development, The Man 3 had a "beta preview" (or, an unfinished demo, in Real People Words) featuring the first level and boss. It was missing its backgrounds, intro scenes, and several polishing features. Once you beat the first boss, you'd be interrupted by a small green creature (named Plug) who would tell you the demo is over before softlocking your game. Her theme remains in the game's Extras page.
